Is LSAC-LP ever going to offer the golf net again? I heard someone mention they may put it on the roof during the summer which would be nice. Or at least the putting green. I know its the reason alot of members joined.
$96 is very steep, but I'm willing to pay it, but I do agree that at that price, LSAC needs to make some improvements in order to stay competitive with cheaper (and nicer) gyms.
I too would like to have the golf net back in place at lakeshore. Maybe even a putting green would suffice. When is LSAC putting the ban on kids under the age of 13 in the MEN'S locker room? One more thing, non-members attending lakeshore for any event (i.e. St. Clemens Girls B-ball, DePaul tennis matches) should not be allowed to use the facilities as they please unless they cough up the $20 dollar guest fee.
Can someone from LSAC-LP please post a description for every class offered? I think it would be a helpful way for people to know what they are getting into before attending.
I'm probably asking a lot, but I kind of wish I could see, at a glance, which pools are "free" at any time. Sometimes I want to come in for a swim, and I have to check the schedules and try to figure out which pool I might get to, and it's kind of a pain. I prefer the warmer upstairs pool, but I'm never sure if it's okay to swim up there when it's kind of deserted, as well.
Also wondering if you might consider scheduling some pool fitness classes for adults at times that work for people who are still working for a living! The Aqua Fit times are great for stay-at-home moms and retirees, but some of us are neither, but need the pool for our arthritic knees and hips!
Any chance of lakeshore offering a fitness boot camp again? I know some of the Y's have offered it, but I don't want to join an additional club just for that class.
I second putting subs on the website and bringing back Ron!! His classes were amazing! The new cardio kickboxing class on Tuesday at 6:45 is a great addition - Love the instructor too! Thanks!

ReplyDelete$96 for membership? Really? The weightroom could use some work for that membership rate.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, golf will not be offered this summer due to the popular demand of our summer programs schedule.
ReplyDeleteAll I know is that there is a huge outdoor area west of the upstairs pool where nothing takes place. Perfect spot for the golf net.

I would love it if subs and class time changes would be posted on here and the website and not only at the gym. Also, bring back RON
